Victor Idrissa Lansana is a Legal Practitioner of the Superior Courts of Judicature in Sierra Leone with a practice spanning over a decade. He has gained extensive experience by practicing at every level of the court system—from the Supreme Courts to the Magistrates Courts. His expertise covers Corporate Law, Human Rights, Administrative Law, Legal Drafting, Property Law, Family Law, Banking and Finance, Civil Aviation, and Immigration Law. He also handles criminal matters when necessary.
Known for his dedication, candour, and professionalism, Victor simplifies complex legal issues for his clients. He mentors junior practitioners and provides strategic leadership, making the firm—established in 2022—highly recognized in the jurisdiction.
Additionally, he serves as Vice Chairperson of the Commission of Sierra Leone (appointed April 2019, renewed April 2024) and is Editor-in-Chief of the Human Rights Monitor newsletter, as well as a key member of the Editorial Board for the annual State of Human Rights Report.
Currently, he is the Secretary of the General Legal Council. He holds an LLM (awaiting graduation) from the University of East London, a Master's in Public Administration from IPAM, a BL from Sierra Leone Law School, and both an LLB and BA (Hons.) from Fourah Bay College. He also lectures on International Criminal Law and Human Rights.
